Periodically, I’ll post updates of baby gear, toys, and other items that Gracie (or Mama) is loving and using at the moment. Gracie is 4 months old and the items below are in her current rotation. I hope you find some of these items useful. Let me know in the comments what your baby’s current favorite items are!
Bright Starts Snuggle and Teether Giraffe
Gracie received this as a Christmas gift from her Uncle Jon and Auntie Diana. Out of all of the items she received over the holidays, she’s singled this one out as her favorite. It’s easy to grab, makes crunchy noises and has a lot of tabs and ears to chew on.
Skip Hop Silver Lining Cloud Activity Gym
This has been a consistent favorite ever since I bought it for her. Gracie loves to see toys above her head and to watch them move. She kicks one of the legs of the mobile to make all of her toys dance. Recently, she’s been reaching her hands out and touching her toys. Connecting brainwaves!
Fisher Price Sit Me Up Floor Seat
I added this chair to Gracie’s Christmas list because I knew she’d be outgrowing her Fisher Price Rock n Play soon. Also, since about 3.5 months, Gracie loves sitting up. She can’t do it on her own yet but this chair helps quite a bit. This was one of her Christmas gifts from her Lolo and Lola (grandparents) this year.
The Honest Company Wipes
I buy these wipes in bulk. Yes, the big pack. They work perfectly from “cheek to cheek” as the packaging says. I use these as regular baby bum wipes and also to wipe her hands, face and body. Her favorite chew toy lately has been her hands and fingers so I always make sure to wipe them down with these wipes.
Earth Mama Angel Bottom Balm Diaper Cream
Gracie has an unpredictable poop schedule lately and there are some days where it’s just a marathon of non stop poop. To ease discomfort and reduce redness in between changes, I apply some of this natural diaper cream to her bum.
Baby Bum Brush
Although not completely necessary, I like using a Baby Bum Brush to apply diaper cream. It keeps my hands mess free and is easy to use and clean.
Halo Sleep Sack
Colder winter nights (cold for Southern California at least) have me dressing her in an additional layer at night. She’ll wear a breathable cotton footed pajama and this fleece Halo Sleep Sack over it as a “blanket” for more warmth.
Lush Dream Cream
Fall and winter weather have dried out my baby’s skin. She has a few dry patches and needs a little bit of extra moisture all over so I use one of my favorites on her, Dream Cream! This lotion is extremely gentle and soothing and has a light natural scent.
